8 Things Fans Want To See On ‘Sonic The Hedgehog 3’

It Sonic The Hedgehog The franchise has been a pleasant surprise for moviegoers of all ages. It’s hard to believe that, after Sonic’s gruesome and slightly scary design in the first trailer for the original film caused outrage among fans, the sequel would become the highest-grossing videogame film in US history.

The future looks just as bright for the franchise, with spinoffs knuckles the series featuring the return Idris Elba head to Paramount Plus and Sonic The Hedgehog 3 already under development. And when it comes to the third film in the trilogy, there’s a lot fans will want to see from Blue Blur and his new friends.

More Classic Sonic Quips

Some of the best moments in the first two films revolve around Ben SchwartzSonic uses his powers to blunder, as anyone would if he were blessed with incredible speed. From using his speed to create an instant bubble bath or fielding an entire baseball team himself, Schwartz’s excellent voice performance elevates this comedic moment and brings wide-eyed magic to many simple things on earth.

With Tails and Knuckles now by his side, you’d expect Sonic to do more mischief in the upcoming third installment, especially if the chili dog is involved.

Shadow Recognition

Mid-credits scene in Sonic The Hedgehog 2 teasing the introduction of a new Hedgehog that fans of the franchise will be very familiar with. Shadow The Hedgehog, a very cool black hedgehog, was first introduced in 2001 Sonic Adventure 2. Shadow possesses the same superhuman speed as Sonic but lacks Sonic’s unwavering moral compass, making it unclear whether he will be an ally or foe in the upcoming third film.

Either way, it would be great to finally see Sonic go head-to-head with another speedster, guaranteeing frantic fight scenes and insane set-pieces.

More Eggman Madness

Will Jim Carrey’s Dr. Crazy Robotnik is back for Sonic’s next big screen show? That’s a question that fans really want to answer. The mustachioed madman apparently fell to his death after battling Super Sonic, but we never got to see his body, leaving room for his comeback. While the character may return, Carrey’s participation in the upcoming project seems much less certain.

The actor recently revealed that he is considering retiring from acting, which will be a huge disappointment for Sonic fans and film lovers around the world. Hopefully, Carrey will delay his retirement in order to return for one more outing as arch nemesis Sonic The Hedgehog. If he does, please wear him in a fat suit. We all want to see Dr. Accurate Eggman in the game for the final entry in the trilogy.

More Blue Justice

One of the most enjoyable scenes from the highly successful sequel saw Sonic give his best impression of a superhero and receive negative feedback from the man he saved. Calling himself Blue Justice (trademark pending), Sonic stops the armored truck robbery and brings the proceedings to a (somewhat) safe stop.

with Dr. Robotnik seems to be gone forever now, everyone’s favorite hedgehog should have plenty of time on his hands to stop armed robberies and kidnappings and even save kittens from trees. While the film’s end-of-world stakes are a blast, there’s something extraordinary about seeing an all-powerful creature stumble through encounters with low-level thugs and street criminals.

Less Human Drama

If one thing is clear when watching the overly long wedding scene in Sonic The Hedgehog 2that’s what the author doesn’t know how to bring by James Marsden Tom and Tika Sumpter’s Maddie into the story. The sequences are too long and slow down the plot, forcing us to sit back and watch petty bickering rather than hilarious action and one-liners.

The fault lies not with any of the actors, all of whom were well-acted and talented; they weren’t instrumental enough in the sequel’s plot to justify their inclusion. Hopefully, the third film can integrate them into the plot more effectively, allowing them to be part of the fun rather than the boring afterthought.

More Sonic Lore

The introduction of Master Emerald, Chaos Gems, and Super Sonic delights fans of the videogame franchise who took the first film lightly on the beloved Sonic lore. With hints for Shadow and the promise of a more prominent role for GUN, we Sonic fans are sure to see a more familiar face in the third entry in the trilogy.

Even though Master Emerald is now under the protection of the united trio of Sonic, Tails, and Knuckles, there will definitely be enemies who want to steal it from them. Maybe Super Sonic will reappear to save the day, or another character from a game or animated series might appear. If so, hopefully it’s Metal Sonic

More Heart

The Sonic The Hedgehog franchise consists of three things: high-speed action, Robotnik madness, and a heart-healthy dose. Between the first film’s wholesome message about the power of friendship and the second focus on the importance of thinking of others before you think of yourself, there’s a lot children can learn from these films.

It’s safe to assume that the third film will promote an equally positive message, especially with Sonic now having surrounded himself with a strong group of friends and family. The seriousness of the franchise also helps offset the evil tendencies inherent in Dr. Robotnik, brings a nice balance to the film.

More Giant Robot Fight

Let’s be honest; we all enjoyed watching Sonic, Knuckles, and Tails go head-to-head with the giant robot Robotnik in the third act of the blue blur sequel. Many of Dr.’s inventions and robots. Robotnik has played a huge role in the franchise so far, putting together some crazy chase sequences and action scenes.

We hope to see more of Robotnik’s creative genius in the third film as he tries to build the robot that will finally be able to stop Sonic. It’s going to be tougher given GUN’s withdrawing his funds and discontinuing his assets, but we have a feeling that Robotnik will do his best job when his back is against the wall, and we can’t wait to see what he does next.
