Brittany Wright

Get to know Brittany Wright

Brittany Wright is the Community Manager for Southaven, Commonwealth.

How long have you been in Spring Hill?

I have been in Spring Hill for six months. However, Southaven builder and owner John Maher has been building quality homes in Spring Hill for over 30 years. The management company I work for, Freeman Webb, has been managing communities in the Spring Hill/Columbia area for about 17 years.

What was the first job you did?

My first job when I was 18 was a tanning salon manager while attending college in Middle Tennessee. I worked next to an off-campus apartment community and got a part-time position in the apartment shortly after my tanning salon gig. I would work in a salon and then move on to my next rental consultant job. I work full time throughout college.

How did your career path get you where you are now?

I have been in the multifamily industry since 2008. I joined Freeman Webb in 2011 as a rental consultant and worked my way up. I love my job and am passionate about the company I work for.

How can you give back to society through your business?

Freeman Webb has excelled in the many outreach programs it has participated in. My favorite thing about the company is that they offer paid time off for volunteer work. Southaven owner and builder John Maher has been instrumental in giving back to the Spring Hill community and I am delighted to be a part of it. Southaven in Commonwealth provides an affordable living option for the Spring Hill community.

Who is your favorite business mentor or role model?

I think I have had many mentors and role models throughout Freeman Webb’s career. I learned to take the tools and tips from my amazing leaders and keep them in my pocket while leading with integrity.

What’s your favorite thing to do when you’re not working?

I am humbled by my many blessings, including my little family. When I’m not working, you can see me at my 8 year old son, at football games or kickboxing in Branson, or cheering on my husband Chris at the half marathon/marathon.

What did you want to be when you were a kid?

I want to be a detective. I’m married to a police officer, so I think I’ve had some success with that.
