New Fitness Trend ‘Goat Yoga’ Has Arrived in Wyoming

“Goat Yoga” is the latest and greatest fitness trend.

Goat yoga is all the rage on the heels of “llama yoga,” becoming a popular form of exercise and one-on-one encounters with the much-loved furry farm animals.

Before we discuss where to take a goat yoga class in Wyoming, let’s talk about why you should.

After all, many of us living in the countryside may raise our eyebrows based on our experiences with goats.

they tend to be a bit smelly Fragrant, some can be aggressive, and they are generally not litter box trained (if you know what I mean).

So what are the benefits of goat yoga?

Let’s start with the yoga part.

First and foremost, yoga is an exercise that anyone of any age or ability can enjoy.

Second, yoga can improve muscle strength and joint flexibility.

Third, practicing yoga can improve your mood, help you relax (and thus sleep better), and make you more energized.

So how does adding a goat to your yoga class make it even better?

According to,

The act of petting or approaching a goat produces an automatic relaxation response.

In addition, practicing yoga with nearby goats has many psychological benefits, as these animals will lift your spirits, relieve any feelings of sadness or sadness, and enhance communication.

I never thought of goats as therapy animals, but I guess it makes sense…

The dwarf and fainting goats are so cute, just watching their videos puts a smile on my face. So if a case greets me while I’m doing Warrior 2 Pose or stretching into Downward Dog, the same thing is likely to happen.

So where can you take a goat yoga class in Wyoming?

The most popular place seems to be Jackson Hole Goat Yoga, where they hold weekly classes and even offer the opportunity to book private events.

In Casper, Black Tooth Brewery offers classes, but when I contacted them, they said their goats were sold…but assured me there would be more “goat yoga” classes in the future.

If you know of any other places in the state that hold goat yoga classes, please let us know through the app so we can add their info to our list.
